COLUMBUS, Indiana -- April 4, 2006 -- Irwin Financial Corporation (NYSE: IFC) today announced promotions of eight individuals in recognition of their contributions to the Corporation and the growth in their scope of responsibility. This group of senior officers has distinguished itself in leadership positions and has assumed greater responsibility for the future success and growth of the Corporation. These officers are responsible and accountable for substantial enterprise functions.
The following individuals have been named First Vice Presidents of Irwin Financial Corporation:
Marie Ameis, Senior Financial Analyst, joined IFC in 1992 and is the Corporation’s central point of contact with our primary banking regulators
Jim Burke, Chief Information Officer, joined IFC in March 2006
Jose Gonzalez, Director of Internal Audit, joined IFC in 1995
Jody Littrell, Controller, joined IFC in 2000
Dave Meyercord, Strategy and Corporate Development, has served Irwin in several capacities in private equity and as President of Shared Services, joined IFC in 1997
Steve Schultz, General Counsel, joined Irwin Financial in 2002, left for a year to serve the Governor of Indiana as General Counsel and recently returned as IFC’s General Counsel
Rebecca Towne, Chief Risk Officer, joined IFC in April 2006
Brett Vanderkolk, Treasurer, joined Irwin Financial in 2000
