Matt Souza is Chief Administrative Officer of Irwin Financial Corporation.
Matt joined the Irwin Union Bank Trust Department in 1982 and Irwin Financial as Director of Administrative Services in 1984. At Irwin Financial, Matt is responsible for Community Relations, Corporate Governance, Ethics, Government Affairs, Human Resources and Legal.
He has been active in service to the local community having served as member of the Columbus Redevelopment Commission, leader for the St. Bartholomew Music Ministry, President of Children, Inc. (not-for-profit childcare), coach for the Columbus Express youth soccer club, board member of United Way of Bartholomew County, and chair of Business Law Section of Indiana State Bar Association.
Matt has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Indiana University and a JD degree from Indiana University School of Law. Additionally, he is a TEP (The Executive Program) graduate of the Darden School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia.
